Some international students are self-funded or sponsored through businesses or the government in their home country. Additional funding for International students is limited and difficult to come by.

Charities

Charities and Trusts sometimes provide grants for students who are from a low income background or are experiencing financial hardship. If you wanted to try and apply for charitable support, you could look through directories of charities and trusts to see if there is any funding that you could be eligible for.   You may want to use Educational Grants Directory, which is available in the University Careers Service (The Atrium, 1st Floor, University Place).
