Wellbeing Coordinator

(35hrs, Fixed term until August 2022, £21,451)

We have an exciting opportunity to lead in a growing area of volunteering and student support as Wellbeing Coordinator at the Students' Union.

The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of key student-facing wellbeing projects: the Students' Union Peer Buddy Scheme, the Student Angels project, and Manchester Nightline. You will oversee the implementation of the Peer Buddy Scheme into the offer to incoming and existing students, and proactively seek to reach under-served areas of the student population, tailoring the projects to their needs. You will deliver high quality support to student leaders and volunteers, helping ensure that they have an excellent experience, and supporting them to achieve their aims.

The role will build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships between the Students' Union, the University of Manchester and Manchester City Council. You will need to employ excellent communication skills, monitor and evaluate the projects regularly, and work collaboratively with the wider team.
