ENHANCING ACADEMIC SUPPORT

• Improving the quality of online teaching and feedback
• Supporting the University’s student-led teaching & learning review
• Transparency over where your fees are spent, particularly international students’ fees

EMPLOYABILITY IN A POST-LOCKDOWN, POST-BREXIT GRADUATE LABOUR MARKET

• Lobbying for post-study work visas for EU and international graduates
• Project Lab, our exciting new programme where students can collaborate on work-based projects with employers

IMPROVING WELLBEING DURING LOCKDOWN

• Providing more mental health and wellbeing support through the SU
• Tackling period poverty by providing free sanitary products on campus
• Providing hardship funding and direct financial support for students through our improved emergency loan

LIVING AND STAYING SAFE IN MANCHESTER

• Proving the value of the student community in Manchester through our We Belong campaign
• Challenging sexual harassment and domestic violence through Reclaim the Night
• Championing environmental sustainability and tackling the climate crisis

STRENGTHENING STUDENT COMMUNITY

• Lobbying for more social spaces around campus
• Celebrating diversity in culture with Global Week
• Supporting societies through improved SU and University partnerships

POSTGRADUATE SUPPORT

• Improving the representation of PGR students in the SU
• Working with the University on PGT student experience projects
