Last week, we celebrated your amazing work and achievements. We hosted four different award ceremonies which were Media, Education, Volunteering Fundraising & Campaigning and finally Societies & Halls.

It was a real privilege for me to host two of the award ceremonies. Whilst we, as your Student Executive Officers, would have preferred seeing you all in person, it was so inspiring and wonderful to  still see so many of you join us on our live streams and aw well as sending in encouraging comments and well wishes during the events.

We received over 1,000 nominations, which shows the positive impact that you have had across campus and the wider community and how your follow students and colleagues are willing to celebrate you for that. We shared your stories on the campaigns, events, projects and initiatives that you spent time doing for your fellow students.

During each of the awards nights individuals, groups, committees and leaders were nominated, highly commended and won awards. However, every single student who worked to better enhance and improve the fellow students experiences at University, are all thoroughly deserving of recognition and all winners.
